What to do in Peyia

Peyia sits just above the coast
close, but quietly removed.

Start your morning with the view.
Hills rolling toward the sea.

A short drive brings you to Coral Bay Beach
for an early swim in calm water.

Or head toward the Sea Caves Peyia,
where cliffs meet open sea.

Further on, the Akamas Peninsula
offers trails, views, and quieter landscapes.

Back in Peyia, everything softens again.

Lunch outside.
A slower afternoon.
A sunset that lingers.

Bars & Restaurants

Peyia leans more local
and that’s part of its charm.

Start at Vrisi Village Tavern
traditional dishes, unhurried evenings.

Nearby, The Peyia Tavern
serves grilled meats and meze in a familiar setting.

For something more refined,
Oniro By The Sea
offers open views and softer energy above the coast.

Just down the hill, Coral Bay brings more variety.

Stay close, or wander slightly.

A table. A view. No rush.

Beaches

Peyia doesn’t sit directly on the beach
but that’s what keeps it quieter.

Just minutes away, Coral Bay Beach
offers soft sand and calm, shallow water —
easy, open, familiar.

For something less busy,
Laourou Beach
feels more local
a little quieter, a little slower.

And along the coast near Peyia,
smaller rocky coves appear between the cliffs
places without sunbeds or structure,
just water, stone, and space.

Or head further into the Akamas Peninsula,
where beaches like Lara Bay feel untouched —
open, remote, worth the extra time.

Each one different.
All within reach.

Sea. Space. Stillness.

Family Fun

Peyia keeps family time simple
with just enough nearby to fill the days.

Start with the beach at Coral Bay Beach
safe, shallow, easy for long days in the water.

Just a short drive away,
Paphos Zoo
offers a relaxed outing
shaded paths, open spaces,
and enough to explore without feeling overwhelming.

For something more active,
jeep safaris into the Akamas Peninsula
bring a sense of adventure
off-road tracks, stops to explore,
views that feel wide and open.

And in between:

Pool time.
Simple meals outside.
Evenings that don’t need planning.

You won’t need much.
That’s the point.

Places of Interest

Peyia is shaped by its surroundings
nature, views, and a slower rhythm.

Start at the Sea Caves Peyia
rugged cliffs and open sea.

Nearby, the Edro III Shipwreck
rests just offshore, best at sunset.

Further out, Avakas Gorge
offers a cooler, shaded walk through stone walls.

Back in Peyia village,
small cafés and wide views stretch toward the coast.

You don’t come here to see everything.
Just enough to slow down.

Stone. Sky. Distance.
